After 5 at A440 Studios
A Cool Night: Court’s In Session Plays After 5 at Studio A440
Court’s in Session had the privilege of appearing at a great venue in New Hope, Studio A440. We enjoyed being featured on their “After 5” concert series, set in their intimate black box studio space, with candlelit tables and an audience of 75+. Set-up for everything didn’t start until 3 p.m., yet A440 was ready for our cool night of jazz by the time doors opened at 7 p.m. Guests were treated to what felt like a comfortable evening with friends, although we know how hard the staff worked to stage such a magical evening for everyone, including the band.
The Set
Since Studio A440 is, in fact, a working recording studio, we had the pleasure of cutting 9 tracks and, additionally, performed a live mini-set, just for fun. Only time in post-production will tell which tracks will get published.
