Jeff Laibson

The muse speaks to me through all types of art. I was transfixed when I saw this work titled "Blue Piano." What touched my heart was the phased "play, rest repeat." I thought to myself – this is a perfect way to approach life. When I read about the artist and his inspiration for the piece, I had to buy the print.

I think most artists live in an "and" world. For example, the artist – Jeff Laibson - is both a composer and an artist." Blue Piano" is part of a collection he crafted titled "Art of Music," to explore the place where "Life force is rhythm in motion, and motion in rhythm. Visual hearing, a multidimensional experience is alive in the works."

If you have a moment, listen to this solo piano rendition of one of George Gershwin's most recognizable works, Rhapsody In Blue. You can see all the musical themes come alive in the painting, inspired by a composition that defined the Jazz Age.
